Powerful Planning with 529 Plans

This presentation will be a comparison of education savings plans and impact of recent legislative changes on 529 plans for families. It will be an opportunity to learn not just the basics of saving for college through a 529 plan, but how they can be one of the most powerful planning tools on the market for clients and financial professionals.

  • Next Gen Members (age 35 and under) - $65
  • Non-members - $100 (Non-members are only eligible to register after October 1)

About Rob Tirrell, Principal Asset Management

Rob Tirrell is a 529 Sales Director with Principal Financial Group. Rob is responsible for providing education on 529 topics and the growth of new business. Prior to joining Principal, Rob was a 529 Business Development Specialist with Voya. His territory covered all states. Prior to joining Voya he was a Relationship Manager with MassMutual Financial where he provided service to the top 75 financial professionals. 

Rob received a Bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University. Rob holds the FINRA Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses. Rob and his wife have a very busy 7 year old son Nolan, 4 year old daughter Clare and their dog Ruben.
